St Catherine's is a successful family run hotel built in 1862 for the Dean of Winchester. The hotel stands in its own grounds and is tastefully decorated in period with the building creating a comfortable, relaxing and inviting atmosphere. Ideally located on the corner of Winchester Park Road and Broadway in Sandown within easy walking distance of the amenities including the railway station, leisure centre, shops, cliff walks, pier and miles of safe, sandy beach making us the perfect base for your holiday whether on foot, two wheels or by car.

After a hard day exploring the Island, why not just relax and enjoy a delicious four-course meal in our fully licensed restaurant?

All of our food is lovingly prepared in-house using fresh local produce wherever possible. Our Chef has British, Italian, Thai and other cuisines in his repertoire, so there should be something on the menu to suit all tastes!

There is so much to see and do on the Island whatever the weather or the time of year. Alternatively, you could just sit back and relax in the quiet surroundings of our beautiful hotel.
